Frequently asked questions
𦴠What is your approach to hygiene and cleanliness?
Hygiene is our top priority! π We ensure that all indoor and outdoor areas are cleaned and disinfected daily. Bowls, toys, and resting areas are washed regularly, and we have strict protocols to guarantee a healthy and safe environment for every dog.β
We kindly ask pet parents to bring their dogs clean to respect the premises and other guests. Since dogs have free access to furniture and couches, good hygiene is essential for their comfort and that of others.
π Should I book in advance?
Yes! Snuggle Paws Palace is a small family business, and we limit the number of dogs to offer them personalized attention. π‘πΎ To ensure a spot for your pup, we recommend booking as early as possible, especially during holidays and weekends.β
πΆ Do you accept all dogs?
For safety reasons, we only welcome dogs with good behavior and non-aggressive temperaments. Each dog must be sociable with other animals and humans. An initial meeting may be necessary before the first stay to ensure everything goes smoothly.β
π« Do you accept puppies or untrained dogs?
We accept puppies from 4 months old, and untrained dogs are welcome as long as they are not dangerous and are house-trained. We cannot accommodate destructive dogs or those aggressive toward other guests.
πΈ Will I receive updates about my dog during their stay?
Absolutely! π We send regular updates with photos and videos so you can see how their stay is going and feel reassured.
π Where will my dog sleep?
With us, there are no cages! π‘π Each dog can sleep wherever they feel most comfortable: on a couch, a cozy bed, or their own cushion.β
Owners can bring their dog's bed to make them feel even more at ease. ποΈ For anxious dogs, we recommend bringing a t-shirt with your scent so they have a comforting item during their stay.
We also offer a special option for anxious dogs πΆπ:
Delphine, the caregiver, is a dog foster in the United States and has volunteered in Europe in shelters and animal rescue. She has three dogs rescued from physical abuse and knows how to gain the trust of the most fearful dogs.
For the more anxious ones, we recommend parents opt for a gradual stay: a first day, then an overnight stay, before a long stay. This allows the dog to understand they are safe and will have a wonderful vacation while their parents are away.
π³ Will my dog have access to the outdoors?
Yes! π Our guests have free access to the secure garden all day, under our constant supervision. They can play, run, and relax outdoors as much as they wish.β
πΈ Will I receive updates about my dog during their stay?
Absolutely! π We send regular updates with photos and videos so you can see how their stay is going and feel reassured.
π Should I bring my dog's food?
Yes, we ask you to bring your dog's usual food to avoid upsetting their digestive system.β
π¨ NEW: We also offer a menu option π½οΈ where parents can pre-order their dog's meals. However, we ask you to bring some of their usual food to mix it gradually and prevent any digestive issues due to a sudden change in diet. For more details, consult our Menu & Treats section.
π My dog is on medication; can you administer it?
Yes, we can administer prescribed medications (pills, drops, ointments, etc.), provided you give us detailed instructions and enough medication for the entire stay.
π Do you offer transportation services for dogs?
Yes! We have a dedicated section on our website for pick-up and drop-off services π. Simply book in advance to arrange your dog's transportation with ease. For more details, consult our Pick-Up & Drop-Off Service section.β
πΎ Can you accommodate dogs with specific needs?
We do our best to meet the specific needs of each dog (special diet, routine, anxiety, etc.). Please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
π‘ Is my dog allowed on the furniture?
Yes! ποΈ With us, dogs are like at home. They can get on the couches, armchairs, and beds if they wish, for more comfort and well-being.β
πΎ What types of activities are offered to the dogs?
We ensure that each dog has an enriching day with:β
Interactive games (ball, frisbee, tunnels)
Rest and cuddle times π₯°
Free outings in the garden π³
Mental stimulation for energetic dogs

Your dog will be bathed in a real tub, with soft music to relax them.β
We create a soothing atmosphere, far from the stress of a typical grooming salon.β
We trim nails, but if the dog does not allow it, we will not insist to avoid stress or injury.β
We do not cut hair, but we offer baths, brushing, and ear cleaning.
